Auch, wenn ich keinen Kaffee trinke: die Kaffeekommune ist großartig. Der einzige Ort in der Gegend, wo man - dazu noch sehr gute - Scones bekommt.

Although I do not drink coffee I really do like the »Kaffeekommune«. A small place to celabrate not only coffee but various delicacies, really good scones for example.

Großartiges Buch. Die Passage über das subjektiv gefühlte Altern der Hauptperson - absolut zeitgemäß. So müssen sich all jene Damen fühlen, die sich heutzutage »verjüngen« wollen.

A great book! Guy de Maupassant - Strong as Death. The passage about the main character’s feeling of getting old is quite up to date. Just imagine all the ladies worrying about their youth - and all the articles in magazines about staying in shape, plastic surgery and so forth.

Schon lange bin ich um sie herum geschlichen, Samstag habe ich sie mir endlich gekauft: die »Skin« Swatch. Ungalubliche 10 Gramm wiegt sie nur, ist extrem flach - und das Beste: sie tickt nicht (das laute Ticken der Swatch-Uhren macht mich wahnsinnig!). Perfekt.

After longingly circling her for quite some time, I got her: the »Skin« Swatch. So light (10 gram!), so flat, so quiet (nothing like the other swatches, driving me crazy with their ticking) - just perfect.
